Graphocephala atropunctata (Homoptera: Cicadellidae) on catnip bush in Corvallis, Oregon - also known as blue-green sharpshooter. These insects suck juices from plants, filter out minuscule quantities of protein, and then expel the rest using powerful abdominal muscles - thus earning them their common name.
